Every year enormous amount of candidates applies for the IBPS 2017 Clerk Recruitment. The Institute of Banking Personnel recruits those deserving and eligible candidates for public sector banks. The common written exam that is conducted by the IBPS is mandatory for the section of posts in those banks participating with IBPS. The notification for this year will be announced in August 2017 to recruit 19243 candidates for the post. Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk 2017
The aspiring candidates should satisfy the eligibility criteria for the exam. The candidates applying for the exam should have a graduate degree from a recognized college or institution. The age limit of the candidate should be between 20 to 28 years. The candidate should also be an Indian citizen or a refugee from Bangladesh, Nepal or Bhutan who has the intention of settling down in India. By no means can the eligibility criteria can be adjusted.
Application Details :
- The application form can be downloaded from the official website by selecting the “Click Here to Apply Online for IBPS Clerk Exam”
- Register as a new candidate and click on the option “Click here for new registration”
- A registration number along with a password will be sent to the registered phone number and email ID.
- Continue by filling the necessary application details.
- Upload a signature and password.
- The final step is the payment.
Application Fee :
- General / OBC – Rs.600
- SC, ST, PWD and Ex-Servicemen – Rs.100
Recruitment Exam :
The recruitment procedure of the IBPS Clerk consists of three phases.
- Preliminary Exam (Phase I)
- Mains Exam (Phase II)
The candidates will have to qualify each phase to get shortlisted to the next round. These exams are conducted online. Once the candidates qualify the Mains exam, the participating banks will have the interview based on the vacancies available.
Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2017 Recruitment
The candidates can download the admit card for the exam in the month of November from the official website. The Admit card will usually be released 7 to 10 days before the exam.
